Library Information

Circulation Procedures

Books can be checked out for one week. If you check out a book on Monday, it is due the following Monday. Books can be renewed. Fines are 25¢ per item for each day they are overdue.

Reference books (including our 2 new encyclopedias: 'World Book' and 'wildlife and plants') and magazines may be used in the library.

All books that are checked out under your name are your responsibility.

A hall pass, or note from the teacher is required for students to use the library during class time. The library is open for all students before and after school.

After School Homework Help
The library is open after school from 3:00 to 5:00. Students can work on homework, or read a book from 3:00 until 4:00. From 4:00 until 5:00 students may also use the computers and play board games.

Audio/Visual Equipment
Equipment such as cameras, microphones and camcorders may be checked out for work on projects by the teacher who assigned the project.
